Detailed Description: The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor sits in line with your water line and contains a pinwheel sensor to measure how much liquid has moved through it. There is an integrated magnetic Hall effect sensor that outputs an electrical pulse with every revolution. The Hall effect sensor is sealed from the water pipe and allows the sensor to stay safe and dry.

Whether you are prototyping a smart irrigation system, designing an automated fluid dispenser, or building out digital design and IoT hardware kits, this sensor is incredibly easy to integrate. The digital pulse output can be quickly read by an Arduino Uno, ESP32, STM32 Blue Pill, or STM32 Black Pill using simple interrupt pins to accurately calculate fluid volume and real-time flow rate.
